8.8 million people over 60 years old are diagnosed with dementia. By 2036, this number is expected to rise to 17 million.
Duration:
2–3 hours
If you or anyone you know has a family member or friend with dementia, this workshop is for you.
Target Audience:
- > Family and friends of people living with dementia
- > Allied health professionals working with the elderly (ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, etc.)

- > Causes and risk factors
- > Signs and symptoms, including behavioral and psychological symptoms
- > Diagnostic tests
- > Types of dementia
- > How to communicate with a person living with dementia
- > How to meaningfully engage with a person living with dementia
Refreshments will be provided.
Each session will accommodate a maximum of 15 participants. Seats are limited.
